European Delivery

Dispatched using DPD and GLS Europe 2-5 Day Service.  All items dispatched within 3 workings days of purchase.




Unwanted Item/s - 30 Day Return

There is no need to worry if you have had a change of heart with your purchase, just simply call email the customer service team sales@lakeland-furniture.co.uk within the 30 days of receipt for a full refund of goods.   The costs of returning goods (unless faulty) to us shall be borne by you.  Unwanted goods informed after 7 days will result in buyer being responsible for all carriage costs.


Please note however, that all returned goods must be in a full un-used condition, unless the item(s) are faulty or defective.

PLEASE NOTE: ONCE YOU HAVE ASSEMBLED YOUR PRODUCT WE CAN NOT ISSUE A REFUND.

Upon receipt of the goods we will give you a refund minus 5% restocking fee of the amount paid or an exchange credit as required within 10 days.

We can arrange collection of unwanted items.  The charge is between £12.50-£17.50 per box depending on the box size.

Please be aware that you need to contact our customer service before returning any unwanted or faulty items.



Faulty Item/s

Any products that you have received with a defect or are received in error from Lakeland Furniture, we will be happy to replace\exchange.

Please notify our customer service team sales@lakeland-furniture.co.uk within the first 3 working days from receipt of your order.


Frequently Asked Questions

Q) After receiving the parcel, I opened the parcel briefly and did not notice the damage that I then located after taking them fully out of the box. I know it is after the three working days policy, however, what shall I do now?

A) Unfortunately, our policy requires that any damaged/missing/faulty items MUST be reported within this time in order to receive a replacement/refund.

Q) I have taken the item out from the box and assembled my stools and now I have realised that I measured them incorrectly.

A) As our policy states, goods can only be returned if in the original resalable condition, this means that any used or assembled items are not eligible to be returned to us.

Q) We wish to return an item for a refund, although I have not got the original packaging.

A) Unfortunately, without having the original packaging included with the product, this will affect the return as it makes the item non-returnable. This is due to us being unable to resale the item onto other customers.

Q) I purchased an item from your website, however, it has developed some type of fault. I know you have a 30 day policy. What shall I do?

A) If the item becomes faulty, please check the policy for that particular item e.g. stools have 24 months warranty. If the item is damaged after the 30 day period, unfortunately our customers are liable for the damage and a refund/replacement cannot be given.

Q) What if I can't return an item?

A) If for any reason you cannot or are finding it difficult to return an item, for example the item is heavy and bulky, then it is possible for us to arrange a collection from yourself for delivery direct to us. The collection would be made using ParcelForce and can be arranged to take place any weekday afternoon. This service costs (between £12.50-£17.50 per box depending on size) which we charge by refunding you for the value of the item(s) with £12.50-£17.50 (per box) deducted. Guarantee

All of the furniture products we import come with a two (2) year manufacturer's guarantee, covering product replacement or repair only  Items not covered by the (2) year warranty will have a minimum (1) year warranty and this will be cleary stated in the product details. If within two (2) year of purchase, your product fails due to quality of craftsmanship, please contact our Customer Service Department immediately.
 

Guarantee Exclusions

Normal shrinkage, swelling, hairline cracks and minor warpage of wide boards on furniture is to be expected and is not a structural defect and is therefore not covered.

Some furniture requires some routine maintenance. Please take care to treat your furniture like the fine product it is. Proper care and use are essential to preserving your rights under this guarantee. Lakeland-furniture.co.uk will not replace or repair your furniture if improper maintenance or improper use causes damage. This guarantee does not apply if your product is damaged by the use of detergents, abrasives or other harsh cleaning agents.

This guarantee does not cover damage resulting from negligence, abuse, normal wear and tear, or accidents: including burns, cuts, scratches, tears, scuffs, watermarks, indentations or pet damage

The guarantee does not apply to items offered at discounted levels.

In case of a claim, please follow this procedure
Please take photos of the damage on the furniture, and send it to sales@lakeland-furniture.co.uk in a digitized format to enable us to assess the defect or damage. If the defect or damage passes as a manufacturer's defect, We will advise you to 1) get an estimate for a repair, or  2) will authorize a replacement.

When you supply any personal information to us we will meet our legal obligations to you in the way that we deal with that information.  In accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 we are required to collect the information fairly and to let you know how we will use it and whether we will pass the information on to anyone else.  We will comply with the Principles set out in the Data Protection Act 1998 and we will ensure all personal information supplied to us is held securely.  We will ensure that any information will be held only as long as is necessary to ensure our service runs smoothly. We use up to date industry procedures to keep personal data as safe and secure as possible against loss, unauthorised disclosure or access.

Lakeland Furniture is registered under the Data Protection Act 1998 and, because of this commitment to protecting your privacy, any personal information we hold is done so in full accordance with the rules, guidelines and spirit of the regulations.  Lakeland Furniture only requires such personal information as is essential to process any orders you place through our web site.  We do not hold any of your banking information you supply whilst making purchases using credit or debit cards, all such information is collected and held (where appropriate) by Paypal, who collect payment on our behalf.  Lakeland Furniture takes all reasonable steps to protect the information you provide during your visit to our web site but we cannot accept responsibility for security breaches beyond our control.  Information on pages you visit, products you view etc may be stored by our systems for analysis and to help us improve our web site but you cannot be identified by this information and it will be used for statistical purposes only.  Our site may contain links to other websites, which are not covered by this Privacy Policy.
