What height should a bar stool be?

The simple answer is, it depends. There are four different types of stool: counter, bar-height, extra-tall and adjustable height. So of course, whatever your specific requirements are will result in the height of your bar stools. For example, counter stools, the most common type in the home, usually measure between 58 and 72cm high.

What width should a bar stool be?

Again, this depends. Bar stools, like humans, come in all different shapes and sizes. Generally, you'll find a figure anywhere between 40 and 60cm. Bear in mind that bar stools with armrests will measure up as much wider than those without!

How much space must there be between each bar stool?

Generally, 15cm is an adequate amount of room between each chair. This will give you and other people enough room to eat and drink comfortably without knocking elbows! However, we recommend using this figure as a guide and adjusting based on your individual needs and the width of your chairs.

How much room should my legs have under the counter?

When it comes to legroom, you must always bear in mind taller guests who may not be as comfortable. However, if you are tall yourself, you'll be able to perfect the leg space from the word go! There should be 23-28cm between your lap and the counter. This will allow you to cross your legs. If you think this may be an issue for people in your family or guests, it might be worth investing in adjustable height stools.

How do I clean my bar stools?

Cleaning your bar stools is an easy task if you follow some simple tips and rules. There are different methods depending on the material so follow the guide below based on your bar stool's requirements:
