Gorgeous Interiors That Will Inspire Your Home Makeover

Need a little inspiration?

Whether you're planning a home makeover or you just want to waste some time on the internet, this blog post is going to both inspire you and possibly bring out some feelings of jealousy. We've picked out our current favourite interior design looks. As furniture experts, it's easy to get bogged down in the technical details and sometimes we can forget exactly how the furniture is going to look in a room. Interior design is an exciting area and even if you're rubbish at it yourself, there's something really satisfying about looking at other people's interiors. Keep reading to see what we've picked out for your pleasure.

The country-meets-contemporary dining room

We cannot express how much we love this beautiful dining room. The room looks pretty large but the owners have utilised the space in a way that also makes it look really cosy. From the rustic light hanging to the table centrepiece, there's a real country feel to this room. However, there's also all the fresh, modern furniture that we love and it adds an interesting and pleasing twist.

The exotic, hotel-chic bathroom

I mean, come on. The chances that we're going to get our bathrooms looking anything like this one are pretty slim. However, there's just something so satisfying about looking at luxurious bathrooms! We especially love the stylish concrete bathtub and the use of large pebbles to create both texture and an interesting focal point. It's like the perfect example of how inspiring hotel-ready interiors can be... we're ready to start making room for pebbles.

The cool, minimalistic dining area

When it comes to sitting down to eat a meal, you don't have to have a dedicated dining room. We love this particular image as it shows a cosy dining area that could literally be in any room the house. As long as you've got a table and chairs, it's suitable! Spruce up your eating zone with contemporary art but keep things minimal. After all, you want the focus to be on the food, the company and the rest of the house. It's the perfect low-key alternative to a separate dining room.

The comfortable, monochrome bedroom

There's nothing nicer than collapsing onto your bed at the end of a hard day's work. And that's why bedroom interiors are so fascinating to us: it's all about getting the balance between aesthetics and comfort. This bedroom does this perfectly with beautiful textures but minimal decor so that you truly relax in there. We love the monochrome theme that can be mixed and matched with any additional accessories and always suits the current season.

The antique but appealing living room

This living room perfectly combines antique features and interesting contemporary textures. We particularly love the Aztec-style rug contrasted with the grand Victorian fireplace. This juxtaposition is highly effective, especially in the living room. When it comes to playful interiors, we believe the lounge is the perfect place to experiment with different styles and textures!

The intriguing wall decor

Now, this one might be a little more achievable. We're getting 'Northern Quarter cafe' vibes here. And we love it! Exposed, hanging lightbulbs nail the current industrial trend and the make-shift wooden shelves are perfect for that easygoing, thrown-together look. However, when it's all put together it looks highly effective, especially with the addition of those all-important houseplants.
