Let Me Introduce the Team!

Here at Lakeland Furniture, we are like one big family. We are created from several departments and we all work together in harmony, most of the time!

Starting in the office, we have the ladies who run the media and marketing section of our company, Sarah and Shannon. These ladies run the social media side of our company, which is important in us reaching out to our customers. They control who we sell through such as Tesco and World Super Market, making sure all our products are listed and live for our customers to view. They are also the go to girls for all our press and anything to do with new platforms.

The website is created and the back of house if you will is completed by these lovely ladies. Working relentlessly to make sure that everything was up and running and new products were photographed uploaded and live all before the deadline set by the director. Alongside our Marketing Mangers we have our social media assistant Sam, who is onside to view all reviews and make sure each of our customers receives a reply. She flags up any reviews that might need a little more TLC for our customer service team to look into and straighten out.

Also in our offices, we have our customer service team, here for one reason only, to make sure all our customers are well looked after. We have Alex, Natalie and Lucy working alongside each other to reply to your emails, answer your calls and make sure your orders are out on time. With numerous years of experience between them, every customer is valued to make sure that when they are finished speaking with us, they feel reassured, important and valued.

Your order would not be able to go any further after being placed if it wasn’t for our head of dispatch, Jaymie. She has full control of our orders and stock as they move through our system. She keeps an accurate stock update to make sure that our systems are on the ball with what we do have, what we don’t have and what is coming into us. Jaymie assigns yours order to a courier and has the label printed and the tracking number emailed over to you so it is convenient for tracking!

The magic really happens in our warehouse. Our team of 5, Karl, Gaz, Fred, Dan and Mandy work to the extreme to make sure your orders are out on time and are correct. They receive labels from our head of dispatch, take what is in their area and get to work. The items are selected, checked over and packed up. They are then loaded on with our couriers to head into the delivery system. Our warehouse is also in charge of unloading our 40ft containers that arrive regularly with our new stock, it is some serious lifting when it comes to unloaded a container of beds, but you won’t hear any moaning from them!

Our team works hard as one to make sure that all our customer’s orders are to the highest standard and if our customers wish to speak with us, we are there for them in every way possible.
