What are the main things to look for when buying garden furniture online?

• Product Size: Ensure you check the measurements for any potential garden set. You will mainly need to know the largest points of the product. It is also worth checking the packaging size to ensure you can get this through any necessary gates/ doors.
• Frame Material: Garden furniture is usually quite costly and due to this you want to ensure you are spending your money on an item that will last. All our sets are based around an aluminium frame, making them stable and durable.
• Rattan Type: There are pros and cons to both real and artificial rattan. The main positives of real rattan are that it is a sustainable material. Rather than removing full trees to create the product manufacturers only remove the vines, which grow back quickly. Pro’s of artificial rattan are that it is long lasting and is usually good at surviving most weather conditions.

How to work out if a garden furniture set will fit your space

Rather than ordering your furniture and realising on the day of delivery that you have either purchased a set too big or too small, it is best to thoroughly check your measurements. A handy way to visualize the size of a set would be to map out the size of your potential furniture on the floor with some tape.

First get the measurements of the overall size of the rattan set you are looking at, the main measurements you will need for this are the width, depth and diagonal measurements of the set, including any tables or footstools.

Next, place tape on the floor in the exact dimensions of your rattan set again including any tables or footstools.

Ensure you leave enough room around the furniture so that you are able to pass by comfortably.
