How do I clean the mould off my Natural Rattan Furniture?

Avoiding the growth of mildew on your rattan garden furniture is easier than dealing with the consequences afterwards. You can do this by ensuring your furniture is stored in a warm dry and well ventilated position. Try not to stress as moulds can be cleaned off with a bleach solution.

How to remove mould and mildew from Natural Rattan and Cane Furniture

1.Cleanse the area with a soft brush or a toothbrush. Use a solution of 1 part bleach 1 part water to help with this.

2.Using a soft cloth wipe the unaffected area. This will remove any unwanted smells and prevent any spores from growing further.

3.Rinse the full set with clean water.

4. Pat your rattan furniture with dry with tissue; removing as much moisture as possible. Remember to leave your furniture to dry for a few days before using it. Pressure on wet furniture can cause the rattan to stretch. If you are still struggling to remove any mould, there are other methods available in this YouTube channel
