Leather office chairs at Lakeland Furniture
Choosing your perfect office chair
We love all the furniture we sell here at Lakeland Furniture but we know that we particularly specialise in chairs. Our bar stools, dining chairs and office chairs are amongst our bestselling and most sought-after products. We have a particularly large collection of office chairs so it’s important to consider lots of different things before you decide. We’re guessing you’ve got this far by deciding you’re pretty set on a leather chair - we don’t blame you! Leather oozes class and comfort, it’s perfect for work or a home office.
If you’re working for long hours of time, like most of us these days, you’ll know how important it is to select the right chair for you. Sitting for extended periods of time in an uncomfortable position can really affect your upper body. Before you decide on a chair, read this blog post for more information on selecting an ergonomic office chailear. Less pain, more work!
All of the chairs in our current leather range are actually made of faux leather. This can appeal to some people due to environmental and ethical reasons - but it also means it’s a lot better value. Our faux leather is just as good quality as you’d expect from us! We have leather office chairs in the following colours, depending on which style you opt for: light grey, dark grey, black, white, red, brown and vintage brown.
The majority of our office chairs are gas lift and swivel, however, there is a few that are at a fixed height. We offer a good mixture of tilt options which are as following: non-tilt, tension tilt, tension & lockable tilt. It’s up to you which you’d prefer, but it’s proven that for office work it is more appropriate to have a gas lift and lockable tilt option. This is so you can ensure you are comfortable throughout the working day and can adjust your chair to suit your different needs. We also stock office chairs with both fixed armrests and no armrests, although most of our chairs have armrests. It is definitely recommended to have an armrest when working for long periods of time as your arms need to be supported when working with a keyboard and mouse!
